FALL SPORTS REGISTRATION WILL OPEN THIS SUMMER- CHECK BACK FOR DATE & MORE INFO
ATTENTION ALL ATHLETES who plan to participate in a sport at Arvada West in the 2025-2026-
After a soft roll out this school year with the new CHSAA Pre-Participation Evaluation Form, we want to remind everyone that this will now be the ONLY form accepted beginning this upcoming fall season! If your student plans to register for a sport beginning in the fall, they must have Page 4 submitted or on file in order to be cleared. 
If your student played a sport this school year and you submitted a different type of form, you will need to get your doctor to fill out the CHSAA form and re-upload the document, submit it when you register for a sport or email a copy over to Brenna Millikan (brenna.millikan@jeffco.k12.co.us)  or Gordon Volk (gordon.volk@jeffco.k12.co.us) in Athletics. CHSAA is changing the platform for Athlete Registration. Due to this, FALL Sports registration does not have a opening date just yet, but please keep an eye on our website for details: https://arvadawesths.rschoolteams.com/

TRYOUTS/First practices for Fall Sports:

  • Monday, August 4: Boys Golf and Football

  • Monday, August 11: Cross Country, Girls Flag Football, Gymnastics, Boys Soccer, Softball, Boys Tennis, Girls Volleyball 

**ALL Athletes: CHSAA will require that we ONLY approve their CHSAA Pre-Participation Physical Form,

beginning for FALL SPORTS 2025. No other physical clearance forms from doctors or clinics will be accepted.

Please be sure you take the new form with you for future/new physicals so that your student doesn't

have any delays in being cleared. Immunization records & Visit Summaries will not be accepted!

To complete the registration process- please read through the following and then scroll to the bottom to find the Sports Icon to click on.

Registration must be complete and approved in order to try out. Your registration will not be complete until you receive a CONFIRMATION EMAIL from Arvada West stating "Athletic Registration Confirmation."  The clearance process may take a couple of days, so please have patience. If the athlete has not been cleared to start on the first day, then they will not be allowed to attend tryouts. If they miss tryouts, then they may not be able to make it on the team. Please get your registrations done early.  Contact the Athletic Office at 303-982-1308 if you have any questions.

ATHLETIC FEE POLICY

Athletic fee is $185 per sport, per student. The $185 athletic fee will post to your student's Infinite Campus account after tryouts and final rosters are determined. Current year athletic fees must be paid prior to the end of the current season.  This fee can then be paid online through your student's Infinite Campus account or you can bring in cash, check or credit card to the Arvada West's Financial Office.  Financial Office payment contact:  Leslie Crosby; leslie.crosby@jeffco.k12.co.us; 303-982-2202.

Reminders:

  • All athletic fees from any and all previous seasons must be paid in full prior to the submission of a new registration for a new sport in a new season.
  • If you decide not to participate, you must contact Brenna Millikan, Athletic Assistant, within 15 days of the start of the season to have the fee removed.  After the 15 days, fees will not be removed from your student's account.
  • Additional team fees may be assessed by the coach.
